Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Java/J2EE Developer for our McLean, VA area to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software across the full stack using Java, Python, and modern web technologies.

The role requires hands-on coding, experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices; familiarity with CMS platforms like Acquia/Sitecore, and tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Cloudflare.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be familiar with troubleshooting and enhancing code using Java, Python, scripting, and DevOps.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Gen AI tools such as Kiro and Amazon Queue, as well as experience with Jenkins, is also required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Advanced studies/degree preferred
• 2+ years of technology experience in hands-on programming and delivering high-quality engineering deliverables.
• Highly proficient in Full Stack development (React, JavaScript, Python, Java, Angular).
• Experience with AWS.
• Ability to analyze system architecture and contribute to design planning.
• Experience with enterprise-grade web content management platforms (Acquia, Sitecore or similar frameworks) is desired.
• Expertise in managing landscape of tools related to knowledge management and content tools (Drupal) is desired.
• Technical knowledge of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance.
• Experience collaborating with business leaders in marketing, HR, legal, and compliance teams.
• Ability to manage dependencies with vendors or internal engineering teams for software delivery.
• Experience with Ping/Single Sign-On, Bitbucket pipelines, Content Delivery Networks (Cloudflare), monitoring tools (New Relic), and knowledge of DNS, TLS certificates, REST APIs, and caching strategies.
