Job summary

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering teams to build highly available applications using microservices, distributed messaging, virtualization, software-defined networking, and persistent data technologies. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, independent technical judgment, and the ability to deliver reliable solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications and Spring Boot microservices.

Cloud, DevOps & Deployment

• Work with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support application deployment and environment promotion across development, QA, and production.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
• Execute and monitor software releases while ensuring production readiness.

AI-Assisted Development

• Effectively leverage AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools as part of the development workflow.
• Use AI-assisted development to improve engineering productivity, code quality, testing, and problem-solving.
• Contribute to engineering productivity initiatives and adoption of AI development tools.
• Work effectively with cross-functional engineering and technical teams.
• Clarify requirements and provide technical guidance to development and testing teams.
• Present technical/design options and participate in product or solution demonstrations when required.
