Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Java Backend Developer focused on building high-performance backend systems with strong API development and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will also bring deep expertise in MongoDB and Kafka.

The role is on-site for a 5 month 6 day contract. Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs, implement Kafka, and drive backend acceleration with asynchronous processing and query optimization. Familiarity with CI/CD and AWS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices.
• Proven expertise in API design, development, and documentation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 4 years of backend development experience with Java.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $30.05/hour - $46.95/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
