Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer to join our client's IT team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This role targets a candidate with 3–5 years of professional experience and a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, relational databases, and enterprise application integrations.

The position involves Java development, database work, API/integration support, production troubleshooting, and maintaining existing enterprise applications. On-site work in Mechanicsburg, with a pay range of $55-$60/hr on W2.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of professional experience developing and supporting Java applications and relational databases.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, debug, and enhance Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database logic.
• Work with SAP ASE/Sybase or equivalent relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.
• Develop and support Spring Batch processes, scheduled workflows, and message-based integrations.
• Support REST APIs, IBM MQ, file/FTP integrations, and other enterprise integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot production issues, data discrepancies, and performance problems.
• Perform database tuning, data reconciliation, and data-quality troubleshooting.
• Monitor scheduled jobs and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable solutions.

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer to join our client's IT team in Mechanicsburg, PA. This is a great opportunity for a developer with 3–5 years of professional experience who has a strong background in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, relational databases, and enterprise application integrations.

Pay Range: $55-$60/hr. on W2, The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

The ideal candidate will work on business-critical applications that exchange information between court case management systems and external agencies. This role will involve a combination of Java development, database development, API/integration support, production troubleshooting, and maintenance of existing enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, debug, and enhance Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and database business logic.
• Work with SAP ASE/Sybase or comparable relational database platforms.
• Develop and support Spring Batch processes, scheduled workflows, and message-based integrations.
• Support REST APIs, IBM MQ, file/FTP integrations, and other enterprise integration workflows.
• Troubleshoot application issues, production incidents, data discrepancies, failed integrations, and performance issues.
• Analyze and resolve defects while maintaining existing business functionality and integration contracts.
• Perform database tuning, query optimization, data reconciliation, and data-quality troubleshooting.
• Monitor scheduled jobs and production processes and participate in a weekly on-call rotation.
• Implement targeted enhancements and controlled refactoring of legacy Java and database applications.
• Perform testing, debugging, code reviews, and validation before production releases.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, analysts, testers, and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience developing and supporting Java applications and relational databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations.

• Working knowledge of Maven, unit testing, mocking frameworks, Git, and code review practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership of technical issues and deliver complete, tested solutions.
