Job summary

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Java Developer to join their Irving, TX team, focusing on backend Java development. You will design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications, using Spring/Spring Boot to build scalable services and RESTful APIs.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Javabased backend applications
• Work with frameworks such as Spring / Spring Boot to build scalable services
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs

Skills Required

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above)
• Experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
• Good understanding of OOP concepts, data structures, and design patterns
• Experience in developing RESTful web services
• Handson experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.)
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate / JPA
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

Tools & Technologies

• Build tools: Maven or Gradle
• IDEs: IntelliJ IDEA / Eclipse
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, etc.)
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus

Education

Basic understanding of frontend technologies (React/Angular) is a bonus

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($40-$50/hour). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
