Job summary

103 is seeking a seasoned Java/J2EE developer to join our Detroit-based team. You will design and implement RESTful services, build microservices with Spring Boot, and contribute to secure, scalable applications.

Candidates should have 4+ years of experience, strong understanding of design patterns, and be proficient with Spring frameworks, Kubernetes, and Oracle SQL. You will collaborate with onshore staff and clients to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ Java/J2EE experience with Spring ecosystem.
• Experience designing RESTful web services and microservices.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot/Spring Data/Spring MVC and Spring Security.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and SQL databases (Oracle).
• Ability to document architectural diagrams and technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful services and microservices.
• Develop with Java 7/8, Spring Boot, Spring Security and related stacks.
• Collaborate with onshore PMs/clients; document architecture and research results.
• Work with Oracle SQL and write efficient queries.
• Apply software lifecycle methodologies and ensure quality.

Job Description

• Minimum 4 years’ of experience with Java 7/8, J2EE, Eclipse or similar tool, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring MVC along with Unit Testing, and Integration Testing.
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and microservice architecture.
• Experience designing RESTful web services
• Experience designing, implementing, and integrating Spring and/or Spring Boot
• Exposure to spring integration
• Exposure to Kubernetes and no‑SQL databases
• Understanding of data architecture.
• Ability to clearly and concisely document architectural diagrams, technical proposals, and research results
