Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join our SeaTac-based IT team. You will design, develop, test, implement, and support Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services for Lynden's freight management systems in a hybrid role requiring 2 onsite days in SeaTac and 3 remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of software development experience in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience developing Java 17+ applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AKS.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and source control best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Java-based applications, integrations, APIs, and services throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software through clean, maintainable code, unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to standards.
• Analyze requirements and existing environments to recommend technology solutions.
• Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and other developers to deliver technical solutions aligned with IT strategy.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend new development directions and tooling.
• Provide training and post-installation support for customers and colleagues.
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production incidents, performing root cause analysis.
