Job summary

Equifax, Inc. is seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack in Alpharetta, GA.

You’ll apply modern practices including microservices, CI/CD, serverless, and infrastructure-as-code while collaborating with globally distributed teams and leveraging GCP, Kubernetes, and related cloud services. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software engineering experience, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and deep experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years experience with Cloud: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 5+ years experience designing and developing microservices (Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes).
• Experience building and maintaining moderately complex data pipelines.
• Experience designing data models and optimizing performance.
• Advanced Git usage and CI/CD integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
• Apply modern software development practices (serverless, microservices, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code).
• Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems and data fabrics.
• Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions with a globally distributed team.
• Stay up-to-date with GCP and related technologies and propose new solutions.
• Understand data management, maintenance, reporting and security to implement improvements.
• Implement security best practices in pipelines and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement data quality checks and troubleshoot data anomalies.
