Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a Java Fuse Developer to deliver Java-based, REST API–driven microservices aligned with our enterprise architecture roadmap. This role will design and implement mission-critical IT solutions supporting the bank’s technology strategy.

The candidate will design, develop, and lead projects while partnering with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Office-based role with potential flexible work arrangements in some cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years building Java-based business/technical solutions with REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and cloud deployments.

• Design and deliver high-quality software solutions in agile or waterfall environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value to colleagues, customers and the business.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

• Lead development initiatives and mentor team members.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot software issues.
