Job summary

Huntington Bank is seeking a Java Fuse Developer – IS Technical Specialist to design and implement Java‑based, REST API–driven microservices aligned with our enterprise architecture roadmap. This role will deliver mission‑critical IT solutions that support the bank’s technology strategy.

The candidate will lead development across agile or waterfall teams, mentor others, and partner with stakeholders to ensure scalable, robust systems using Spring Boot, Fuse, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience developing business/technical solutions using Java, WebSphere, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Fuse, GCP, Kafka, JSON.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD, container-based development, and cloud deployment architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑quality software solutions in agile or waterfall environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver technology that drives value for colleagues, customers, and the business.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned projects and deliverables.
