Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Delivery Lead to manage end-to-end delivery for client engagements, ensuring service quality and meeting contractual commitments. You will mentor teams, collaborate across groups, and drive opportunities for follow-on work while guiding technical delivery with Scala, Kafka, and Spark.

The role is onsite with Accenture Flex in Pennington, NJ three days per week, with a five-day away mandate per quarter. Strong backend and data processing expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Databricks SQL.
• Associates Degree or greater.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery to meet operational, contractual, and financial commitments.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Scala; build scalable microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven applications; real-time data processing with Kafka/Spark.
• Drive delivery efficiency, quality, and governance; manage delivery outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for follow-on work through up-selling or cross-selling.
• Collaborate with multiple teams, mentor staff, and support project milestones.
• Analyze delivery metrics and optimize resource allocation and timelines.
• Lead risk management and mitigation planning.
