Job summary

Citi is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to backend Java application development in Pune. You will participate in designing and implementing new systems, building secure RESTful APIs, and working with Oracle/MSSQL databases.

Qualifications

3 to 6 years of experience in applications development with Java.
Experience designing secure RESTful APIs using JSON/OpenAPI/Swagger.
Proficiency with Oracle/MSSQL, SQL writing, and RDBMS concepts.
Hands-on testing with JUnit 5 (unit/integration tests).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting (Bash).
Strong Agile/Scrum experience in distributed teams.

Responsibilities

Participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems with the Technology team.
Consult with users and technology groups to define programming solutions and support customer exposure systems.
Apply fundamental programming knowledge for design specifications and code reviews.
Analyze applications for vulnerabilities and conduct testing and debugging.
Act as advisor to junior analysts and share knowledge.
Identify problems, analyze information, and implement solutions with limited supervision.
