Scotiabank is seeking a Java Developer to join a dynamic team focused on authentication and digital banking solutions. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and NoSQL databases to deliver secure, scalable software.

The role emphasizes code quality, security, and collaboration with architects, leads, and product owners. You will review code, plan milestones, and drive technical discussions while contributing to tests and secure design practices.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of work experience as a Java developer with Java 11+ or 17.
• Experience with Spring Boot and MongoDB or similar NoSQL.
• Experience with container orchestration like Kubernetes or Cloud Foundry.
• Hands-on with application security (OAuth2/SSO) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with event streaming (Kafka/ Pub/Sub) and REST API design.
• Knowledge of OO and functional design principles.

Responsabilidades

• Write and review high quality Java code and deliverables.
• Collaborate with architects and leads to implement technical vision.
• Plan milestones and manage software delivery with the team.
• Enhance code quality by writing tests and performing thorough reviews.
• Address security vulnerabilities through best practices and scanning.
• Contribute to productionizing NodeJS where applicable.
• Engage in fast paced, high performance team dynamics.
