Job summary

Wellnow Health Llc is seeking a Software Engineer to own the full lifecycle of product development. You will build server-side web applications in Java, design and implement robust APIs, and contribute to scalable backend services with emphasis on testability and performance.

You will participate in agile reviews, prototyping, and collaborative coding with a team of developers to deliver high-quality software. Strong communication and quick learning are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building server-side web apps in Java.
• Experience with Java Web Services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proficient in object-oriented development.
• Able to quickly learn new tech.
• Knowledge of Java frameworks, architecture and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities and re-architect parts of an existing system.
• Participate in test-driven, iterative development, prototyping, and reviews with a team.
• Design and code backend components and APIs in Java.
• Implement scalable backend services and APIs.
• Develop and run unit and performance tests for scalability and reliability.
• Review and debug code to maintain quality.
• Create documentation and diagrams to explain solutions.
• Define system specifications, standards, and programming guidelines.
