Job summary

Wellnow Health Llc is seeking a Software Engineer to drive the full lifecycle of product development, delivering well-designed, efficient, and testable Java code that meets specifications.

You will develop new capabilities, re-architect existing systems, and participate in test-driven, iterative development with a team of developers. Strong Java, API, and database experience are required, along with good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building server-side web apps in Java.
• Experience with Java Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong object-oriented development skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new capabilities and re-architect parts of an existing system.
• Participate in test-driven, iterative development, prototyping, and reviews.
• Design and code back-end services in a clean, efficient way.
• Implement scalable and robust services.
• Develop external and internal APIs.
• Develop and run unit and performance tests for scalability and reliability.
• Review and debug code.
• Create documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and code comments to explain solutions.
• Define system specifications, standards, and programming to prepare and install solutions.
