Qualifications

• Formal software engineering experience with modern stacks.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable software using Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and Kafka.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, backend services, and event-driven integrations.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review, debug, and improve code written by others.
• Drive team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operations.
• Apply SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to improve automation and value.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to architecture decisions for highly available apps.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across applications, cloud infra, and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues for stability.
• Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, resiliency, and security.
• Partner with product owners and stakeholders to align solutions with business priorities.
• Mentor engineers and foster diversity, inclusion, and respect.
