Job summary

Ethereum Technologies is seeking a skilled Java AWS Developer to join our team and build cloud-native applications. You will design, develop, and maintain Java backend services, and drive CI/CD automation across production environments.

You will implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation and manage a wide range of AWS services. Collaboration with QA and operations is essential to ensure reliable, scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong Java backend development experience.
• Hands-on with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Proficient in CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Familiar with microservices architecture.
• RESTful APIs and system integration knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Java AWS Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and DevOps practices. You will be responsible for developing cloud-native applications, automating CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining highly available and scalable systems on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Implement infrastructure as code (iMac) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Java / Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in AWS cloud services – EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, etc.
• Solid knowledge of DevOps tools – Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD implementation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, and system integration.
