Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC seeks an experienced Lead AWS Developer skilled in Node.js and Java to lead cloud-native applications on AWS. You will design scalable backend services, mentor teams, and drive high-quality delivery on a C2C/1099 contract. Location: Plano, TX.

Responsibilities include building REST APIs, leveraging Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and implementing CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes. A strong background in security and performance optimization is required.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Expertise in Node.js or Java backend development.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of AWS serverless architecture and cloud-native development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• AWS certification is a plus.
• Experience: 8+ years in software development, including strong AWS development experience and technical leadership.
