Job summary

Quantum Technologies. LLC in Denver seeks an experienced Java AWS Developer to design, build, and maintain cloud-native applications. You will implement scalable microservices, manage CI/CD pipelines, and apply IaC practices to automate infrastructure on AWS.

The ideal candidate has strong Java 8+ and Spring Boot skills, hands-on experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, and container orchestration, and a collaborative mindset with QA and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot in cloud-native apps.
• Hands-on AWS services knowledge (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
• Proficient in CI/CD and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
• Monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
