Job summary

Quantum Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced Architect with AWS & Node.js/Java to lead the design and development of scalable, secure cloud-native applications. The role requires strong expertise in AWS cloud architecture, backend development with Node.js and Java, microservices, and distributed systems.

The candidate will define technical architecture, drive cloud adoption, establish engineering best practices, and provide leadership to development teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and Java.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, and IAM.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization, and performance optimization.
• Ability to lead architectural discussions and guide teams.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, highly available, secure cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Lead backend development using Node.js and Java.
• Architect and develop microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Utilize AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS).
• Set architectural standards, patterns, and coding guidelines.
• Drive infrastructure automation with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Design CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment.
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, product owners, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct design reviews, mentor teams.
• Identify risks and propose improvements to architecture.
