Job summary

Capgemini in San Francisco seeks a senior Java Developer to design end-to-end streaming architecture using Kafka, Flink, and Elasticsearch. You'll define data models for Elasticsearch and Aurora/PostgreSQL, build Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs, and enforce robust event contracts with scalable, secure AWS costs in mind.

You will review offshore designs, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product owners and QA, while supporting CI/CD, performance tuning, and production incident

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering with architecture/lead experience.
• Hands-on with Elasticsearch, Kafka, and Flink in production.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot, microservices and event-driven patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end streaming architecture using Kafka, Flink and Elasticsearch.
• Define data models for Elasticsearch and Aurora/PostgreSQL; ensure scalability and security on AWS.
• Review offshore designs, mentor engineers, and support CI/CD and incident analysis.
