Pittsburgh, PA | 7 - 14 years of experience

• 10+ years of professional experience as an architect.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar senior role.
• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software engineering, system design, data platforms, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Methodologies: Deep understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, including CI/CD and automation.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills to evaluate trade‑offs in performance, cost, and complexity.
• System Design & Architecture: Define the overall technical vision, architecture, and technology stack for complex systems, using diagrams to communicate with broad audiences.
• Strategy & Planning: Develop and own technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs.
• Technical Leadership: Guide development teams, perform code reviews, and mentor engineers.
• Solution Evaluation: Evaluate, select, and implement new technologies, performing proofs‑of‑concept (PoCs) to validate approaches.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Optimization: Review existing legacy systems, making recommendations for improvements in design and performance.

Salary Range - $100,000-$115,000 a year
