Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services are seeking a Mechanical Trimmer (Jarraff Operator) in Mountain Grove, MO. The role involves operating heavy equipment to clear tree material from electrical lines and assisting with daily site prep under supervision.

Essential duties include safe operation, equipment maintenance, and supporting crew, with travel for storm work as needed. A high school diploma is preferred, and a CDL/DOT card may be required for driving positions.

Qualifications

• Prior heavy equipment operating experience preferred in utility vegetation management or related fields.
• Must be able to climb in/out of mobile equipment and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen; valid DL, CDL and DOT medical card if driving.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove branches and tree material from lines as directed.
• Perform daily equipment prep and maintenance under Foreperson guidance.
• Assist crew, provide leadership when required, and maintain safety practices.
• Set up barriers and protect work areas; report mileage and work progress.
• Support storm restoration duties as needed.
