Job summary

One World Global Services is seeking experienced interpreters for Japanese-English interpretation on a per-minute or fixed-rate basis. This fully remote role offers a clear schedule and flexibility, with either full-time or part-time options, and immediate onboarding.

Responsibilities include professional call handling, using industry vocabulary (healthcare/medical), training participation, and reporting to a team leader.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Japanese at a bilingual/native level.
• Strong note-taking and memory skills for consecutive/simultaneous interpretation.
• Familiarity with healthcare/medical terminology is a plus.

Requirements:

• 90% English proficiency
• Steady wired internet connection

YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• High emotional intelligence and tolerance of diverse cultures.
• High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
