Job Requirements and Preferences

Basic Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree

Required Fields of Study: Accounting

Minimum Years of Experience: 4 year(s)

Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity

Required Knowledge and Skills: Must be able to speak, read and write Japanese.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in complex tax issues faced by US, non-publicly traded entities with extensive operations in Japan.

• Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
• Communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;
• Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;
• Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;
• Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
