A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Wealth Transition Services Manager might include the following:

1. Advising and consulting on estate planning to create plans based on tax perspectives, including cash flow projections, income distribution, business succession, estate preservation, and estate plan flow.
2. Interpreting and reviewing legal documents related to estate and business succession planning.
3. Providing tax planning and consulting services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
4. Conducting technical research on estate, gift, GST, tax planning, and compliance matters.
5. Analyzing tax situations of individuals and their estates/trusts to maximize tax benefits, with expertise in income taxation of trusts and estates.
6. Assisting clients with varying levels of estate planning knowledge.
7. Managing client relationships proactively to add value to the client experience.
8. Engaging in business development and billing responsibilities.
9. Preparing marketing materials and presenting internal and external webinars.
10. Coaching and mentoring staff.
11. Collaborating with the Wealth Transition Services team on various projects.

Who You Are

1. You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license or JD/LLM (taxation).
2. You have 4-8 years of experience in tax and estate planning in public accounting, law firms, or related fields.
3. You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with high net worth clients and speaking at group events.
4. You can lead and coordinate large estate, gift, and GST tax planning engagements.
5. You are adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines.
6. You have experience in business development and networking.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation (as applicable)

$95,000-$160,000. Compensation is competitive and equitable, dependent on factors like location, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
