Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a full-time Zone Manager to oversee a designated zone, managing customer and vendor relationships, audits, and service delivery. The role requires ensuring buildings are supplied, planning deliveries, and coordinating with head office on project dates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of management experience in janitorial/building maintenance and a strong understanding of OSHA and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in janitorial or building maintenance/service industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and State/Federal compliance standards.
• Experience maintaining staffing levels in support of defined budgets, crews and customer relations.
• Ability to analyze area profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure expenses are within budget.
• Understanding of project management and related planning; communicate changes and progress.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional client relationships and ensure service levels per contract.
• Ability to manage staff employment lifecycle: hire, train, manage performance, disciplinary actions and terminations.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and vendor relationships for assigned accounts within the zone.
• Conduct monthly/quarterly visits with customer district and regional management to ensure satisfaction.
• Visit accounts as scheduled and perform audits; submit findings.
• Ensure buildings are supplied and equipped; respond to service calls within 2 hours.
• Create delivery plans and source/schedule vendors; submit project dates to head office.
• Provide backup crew in emergency situations.
