LifeSouth Community Blood Centers, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial Technician in Gainesville, FL. The role supports janitorial services, floor care, and basic grounds maintenance to keep facilities clean and safe for daily operations.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash removal, daily area inspections, and assisting with ventilation checks. Strong teamwork and a valid driver’s license are required. This is a full-time position with competitive benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Clean offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other facility areas including dusting, glass, stains, and floor care.
• Remove trash from offices, restrooms, laboratories, common areas, and grounds.
• Inspect assigned areas daily and report cleaning, maintenance, repair, or safety concerns.
• Assist with basic grounds maintenance and keep walkways clean and clear.
• Assist with periodic checks of facility ventilation and safety guidelines.
• Follow cleaning procedures, safety instructions, and proper handling of cleaning supplies and equipment.

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Janitorial Technician in Gainesville, FL.

What You'll Be Responsible For

This hands-on position supports janitorial services, commercial cleaning, floor care, and basic grounds maintenance to help keep our facilities clean, safe, and ready for daily operations

What You'll Do

• Clean offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and other facility areas, including dusting, cleaning glass and windows, removing stains, and performing floor care
• Remove trash from offices, restrooms, laboratories, common areas, and grounds
• Inspect assigned areas daily and report cleaning, maintenance, repair, or safety concerns
• Assist with basic grounds maintenance and keep walkways clean and clear
• Assist with periodic checks of facility ventilation and security systems according to manufacturer guidelines
• Follow cleaning procedures, safety instructions, and proper handling practices for cleaning supplies and equipment

What You'll Need

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements
• Consistent, reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• General knowledge of building cleaning, janitorial practices, and floor care
• Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance and upkeep
• Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and work as part of a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience at a LifeSouth facility or two years of facilities experience
