Job summary

Pro-Serv Commercial Cleaning in Prescott Valley, AZ seeks a Janitorial Lead to train general cleaners and inspect work under the manager's direction. The role fills in for absentee staff and ensures facilities remain clean and orderly.

Shifts include Mon/Fri evenings with hours outside normal business hours; some travel between accounts may be required. Leadership, safety and coaching others are essential to maintain high cleaning standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with safety practices in janitorial work.
• Ability to manage time while leading others.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication for training and scheduling.
• Ability to complete train the trainer and SOP reviews.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and floor care products.
• Familiarity with commercial floor care products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours.
• Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors following the Marsden Way TECH cleaning process.
• Empty trash and perform high/low dusting.
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, conference and kitchen areas.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and coordinate repairs.
• Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment.
• Provide work direction to personnel under manager guidance.
• Perform routine inspections of work performed.
• Serve as backup for absent personnel and coach others.
• Hours vary and typically occur outside normal business hours; some travel may be required.

Job Summary

At Pro-Serv the Janitorial Lead is responsible for training general cleaners under the direction of the manager, inspecting their work while also meeting performance requirements. The Janitorial Lead fills in for absentee personnel, keeps premises of assigned facility clean and in orderly condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor facility security/safety by ensuring doors are locked after operating hours
• Measure, label, and use chemicals following proper procedures and adhering to safety protocol
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors following the Marsden Way TECH cleaning process
• Empty Trash
• High and low dusting
• Clean and service restrooms, breakrooms, and conference and kitchen areas
• Report maintenance issues of facility and/or equipment to supervisor
• Train assigned personnel on cleaning methods, procedures, and equipment
• Provide work direction to personnel under the guidance of, and directed by, the manager
• Perform routine inspections of work performed
• Serve as backup for absent personnel
• Teaching and Coaching others
• Hours vary and typically occur outside of normal business hours with early morning, evening, and overnight work. Some travel between accounts may be required.
