Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and assist staff in cleaning and maintaining the premises of commercial, industrial, and medical facilities. The role reports to management and oversees a team on multiple sites, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include task assignment, training, performance feedback, and resolving customer issues, while maintaining operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable work history.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in the janitorial industry.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspect completed work for conformance to standards
• Issues supplies and equipment
• Resolve workers' problems or refers matters to the Manager
• Perform the duties of workers supervised
• Directly supervise the performance outcomes of 2 to 50 janitorial service employees
• Assist in training employees
• Plan, assign, and direct work
• Provide feedback for managers to effectively appraise employee performance
• Address customer complaints and resolves problems
• Collaborate with employees and perform related duties as a Working Supervisor
