Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate cleaning and maintenance tasks for commercial facilities. The role involves leading 2–50 janitorial staff, ensuring adherence to standards and safety protocols.

You will assign work, supervise performance, and support training while addressing client concerns and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in janitorial/cleaning services.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for quality and safety.
• Provide supplies and equipment as needed and manage inventory.
• Address and resolve worker issues in a timely manner or escalate to management.
• Supervise the performance of 2–50 janitorial staff; participate in training and coaching.
• Plan, direct, and supervise daily work activities to meet standards.
• Provide feedback to managers for performance appraisals and improvement.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolutions with clients.
• Collaborate with team to perform related duties as a working supervisor.
