Janitorial Supervisor - Full Time, flexible schedule

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide supervision and assistance with the execution of mobile crew contracts. Transports crew members to and from the job site in company-owned vehicles.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for completing all scheduled jobs consistently and in a timely manner.
• Assign work to crew members and ensure that work assignments are carried out in a satisfactory manner.
• Provide on-going instruction to crew members in the use of proper techniques, material, and equipment related to custodial cleaning.
• Evaluate performance of crew members and provide feedback to the Janitorial Program Manager. Further their job skills in order to achieve community-based employment.
• Perform job functions of a Janitorial Technician, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 pounds lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, handling, feeling, carrying, pushing, talking, hearing, and seeing.

WORK CONDITIONS
Inside generally 100%, however, may include outside work on occasion. Exposure may include noise or vibration, fumes, and hazards. Moderate emotional effort. Work environment sometimes hectic with occasional high stress. Short deadlines requiring some overtime. Some holidays and weekends required. May be required to drive personal vehicle for agency business.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum one (1) year experience in custodial work required, ideally in floor care. Supervisory experience preferred.

• Maintain a good driving record, valid insurance, valid driver license.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under the direct supervision of the Janitorial Program Manager.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Provides supervision to mobile crew members.
