Job summary

Modern Maintenance, Inc. is seeking reliable housekeepers for a professional setting. Wage starts at $21/hr with a $250 sign-on bonus after 4 months of perfect attendance.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with $22/hr for the shift. A drug screen is required and applicants with known food allergies should not apply. Responsibilities include supervising on-site janitorial staff, resolving issues, planning work schedules, maintaining safety, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• Drug screen is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for the full shift may be required.

The responsibilities include:

• Supervision of on-site janitorial staff

• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working with Area Manager to ensure quality standards are met
• Other job duties as needed

This is a working position. Cleaning required.

• Empty trash containers
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum all carpeted floors
• Dust, mop, and sweep hard floors
• Dust all horizontal surfaces high and low
• Remove fingerprints and marks from glass and stainless-steel surfaces
• Maintain the cleanliness of closets and storage areas
• Notify Area Manager of any problems
• Perform other janitorial duties as required

Physical and Other Requirements

• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
