About the Role:

California Facility Services is seeking a hands-on and flexible Janitorial & Cleanroom Supervisor to oversee operations across our Bay Area client sites and support our Martinez, CA office. This hybrid role involves field supervision, client interaction, and hands-on cleaning, including stepping in during staff call-outs and performing floor and carpet care services.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise janitorial and cleanroom teams across multiple Bay Area locations.
2. Support staff during call-outs to maintain cleaning services.
3. Perform floor care tasks such as scrubbing, carpet extraction, stripping, and waxing.
4. Conduct quality inspections and routine audits to ensure compliance with protocols.
5. Attend daytime client meetings, walk-throughs, and performance reviews.
6. Train, retrain, and mentor staff on cleaning techniques and safety practices.
7. Support Martinez office operations, including dispatch, scheduling, and inventory management.
8. Maintain compliance with GMP and cleanroom standards.

Minimum Requirements:

1. At least 2 years of experience supervising janitorial or cleanroom teams.
2. Proficiency with carpet and floor care equipment and cleaning methods.
3. Flexible schedule to work both day and night shifts as needed.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
5. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (Bay Area travel required).
6. Knowledge of GMP or ISO 9001 standards is a plus.
