Job summary

Allied Universal® Janitorial Services is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor for North Riverside Mall. This Full Time role directs janitorial staff, oversees quality, and liaises with customer representatives to ensure service excellence.

Schedule is 3:00pm - 11:00pm with pay at $20.00 per hour. Relevant leadership experience in janitorial services, strong communication, and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Minimum of six (6) months janitorial experience with Allied Universal Janitorial Services or other Allied Universal business.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage stressful situations.
• Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy; coaching and mentoring.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff members.
• Perform quality assurance checks per contract.
• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergencies.
• Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked.
• Oversee setups of tables, chairs, stages and units as required.
• Inform maintenance of deficiencies; coordinate with supervisor.
• Conduct safety training and mentor staff.
• Perform payroll duties, as needed.
• Provide team feedback and guidance for improvement.
• May perform janitorial duties to supplement staff.

Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor. The Janitorial Supervisor will direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff and oversee quality of work performed. This role will liaise with customer representatives and ensure the highest level of service is provided to agreed specifications.

North Riverside Mall is hiring for a Full Time Supervisor

Wage is $20.00 / hour

Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff members
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed in accordance with our customer contract
• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaning
• Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked
• Oversee table, chair, stage, retail merchandising unit set-ups as required
• Inform maintenance department and supervisor of any maintenance deficiencies
• Conduct safety training; coach and mentor janitorial team members
• Perform payroll duties, as needed
• Make productivity recommendations to leadership staff
• Participate in selection and placement of janitorial team members
• Provide team feedback and provide guidance for improvement
• On occasion, may be required to perform janitorial duties to supplement staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role
  • Minimum of six (6) months of janitorial work experience employed by Allied Universal Janitorial Services, or other Allied Universal business
• Ability to troubleshoot, manage stressful situations
• Mediate conflict with tact, diplomacy; coaching, mentoring
• Write informatively, clearly, and accurately
• Able to work a flexible schedule
