Janitorial Supervisor

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across mall common areas, including restrooms, food courts, and other public spaces.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and work alongside crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas.
• Ensure compliance with cleaning standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Coordinate scheduling and shift assignments.
• Report maintenance issues and assist with HVAC, refrigeration, or other building systems as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent for full‑time positions.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Background investigation and drug screening requirements, per federal, state and local laws.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks reliably.
• Integrity and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Experience with HVAC/chiller systems diagnostics and operations.
• Computer proficiency and strong maintenance skills.
• Professional appearance, confidence, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work hands‑on and on call as required.
• Ability to embrace change and adapt quickly.
• Capacity for multi‑tasking, independent judgment, and decision‑making.
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping and maintenance.
• Additional physical abilities:
• Ability to operate machinery, high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles.
• Ability to climb ladders, walk rooftop, lift and carry up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment frequently.
• Ability to be on call 24 h/day, 7 days a week, 365 days/year to handle requests and incidents.
• Flexible and able to adapt to variable shift hours, including weekends and nights.
• Reliable transportation required.
