Allied Universal is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor for North Riverside Mall. The role directs janitorial staff, ensures quality, and liaises with security and mall management to maintain high service standards.

Full-time hours, with pay of $20.00 per hour, and a typical schedule from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Responsibilities include delegating tasks, performing quality checks, safety training, payroll duties, and staff mentorship.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Minimum of six months of janitorial work experience with Allied Universal Janitorial Services or other Allied Universal business.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff members.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure work meets customer contract specifications.
• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaning.
• Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked.
• Oversee setup of tables, chairs, stages, and retail merchandise units.
• Inform maintenance and supervisor of any deficiencies.
• Conduct safety training and coach janitorial staff.
• Perform payroll duties as needed.
• Provide productivity recommendations to leadership staff.
• Participate in selection and placement of janitorial team members.
• Offer feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Occasionally perform janitorial duties to support staff.

Job Description

Allied Universal® Janitorial Services, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a Janitorial Supervisor. The Janitorial Supervisor will direct and delegate the workload of janitorial staff and oversee quality of work performed. This role will liaise with customer representatives and ensure the highest level of service is provided to agreed specifications.

Wage is $20.00 / hour

Schedule: 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload of janitorial staff members


• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure work is completed in accordance with our customer contract


• Answer calls from security or mall management for emergency cleaning


• Ensure janitor closets are cleaned and stocked


• Oversee table, chair, stage, retail merchandising unit set-ups as required


• Inform maintenance department and supervisor of any maintenance deficiencies


• Conduct safety training; coach and mentor janitorial team members


• Perform payroll duties, as needed


• Make productivity recommendations to leadership staff


• Participate in selection and placement of janitorial team members


• Provide team feedback and provide guidance for improvement


• On occasion, may be required to perform janitorial duties to supplement staff

Qualifications

• Must possess one or more of the following:
  
  
  
  • Minimum of two (2) years of janitorial work experience, preferably in a leadership role
  
  
  • Minimum of six (6) months of janitorial work experience employed by Allied Universal Janitorial Services, or other Allied Universal business
