Job summary

Bridgeway is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to lead a consumer-driven janitorial program, oversee scheduling, attendance and payroll, and ensure quality and safety standards across sites. The role includes inventory management, equipment maintenance, and staffing supervision of Groundskeepers and Janitorial Associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years related experience and/or training with high school diploma/GED.
• Experience in janitorial work preferred.

Come Join Bridgeway!The Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for the development implementation and expansion of an integrated consumer-driven janitorial business with Bridgeway's Affirmative Employment Division. They will also procure and administer janitorial service contracts both within the organization and in the community.To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties below:-Oversee operations of the business ensuring adequate scheduling, maintaining accurate records for attendance and payroll, ensuring that quality standards and measures established at each work site are met and responsible for supply/equipment inventory, ordering, purchasing and maintenance.-Oversee safety of operations ensuring that all procedures and storage of items are completed in accordance with OSHA standards.-Assess needs for additional equipment and staffing.-Responsible for administrative supervision of Groundskeepers, Assistant Groundskeepers, Lead Janitorial Associates and Janitorial Associates as well as recruitment, interviewing, making recommendations for hire, evaluating and problem solving.Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or High School diploma/GED with 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer experience in janitorial work. Must also have reliable transportation.
