Job Opening: Janitorial Shift Supervisor

• Location: 21 Roadway Drive, Carlisle, PA 17015.
• Schedule: Full time Saturday through Tuesday night shift, 6:00PM - 4:30AM.
• Requirement: 1 year supervisor experience is required. Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $17.50 to $18.00
• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct classroom and hands-on training on customer service, safety, compliance, and company policies.
  • Conduct one-on-one training as needed.
  • Update and provide training on the use of janitorial equipment, PPE, and chemical usage/safety.
  • Provide feedback on new associates during the orientation period; review trainee records to ensure successful compliance.
  • Perform walk-through building inspections as required.

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
