Job summary

ESFM, the Compass Group USA division, seeks a full-time shift supervisor in Olyphant, PA to direct associates on a scheduled shift, uphold policy, and ensure quality and safety standards.

You will train and schedule staff, evaluate performance, and prepare reports to meet production goals. You’ll act as the point of contact for time-off requests and mentor team members while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred for the shift supervisor role.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
• Train staff and create work schedules.
• Evaluate worker performance, reward high performers and discipline when needed.
• Prepare production or sales reports to meet quality, productivity and safety targets.

• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
