Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking a Janitorial Shift Lead for a night shift in Chester, VA. You will oversee a diverse cleaning team and perform janitorial duties to meet on-site standards while upholding Sizemore's values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety and teamwork.

The role involves cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining equipment, with a 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM schedule Sunday through Wednesday and a 4-10 hour work week. Pay is $16.50 per hour with weekly Friday payout.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial and supervisor experience preferred.
• Demonstrate a commitment to service and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor.
• Possess patience, tact, enthusiasm as well as diplomacy in all interactions.
• Possess initiative and sound judgement in evaluating and reacting to situations.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in time sensitive situations.
• Possess problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, including the ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, read/comprehend detailed instructions and process information with accuracy and clarity.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a diverse on-site team to ensure standards are met.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and scrub various flooring surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, baseboards, windows, blinds.
• Clean/disinfect breakrooms and restrooms, restock supplies.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Label and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in safe working order.
• Operate specialized equipment as needed.
• Report irregularities and enforce policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The Janitorial Shift Lead will be responsible for the shift operations and performing janitorial duties at the assigned account. It will be essential that the Janitorial Shift Lead supports and integrates Sizemore's core values of Flexibility, Improvement, Reliability, Safety and Teamwork into the daily performance of assigned responsibilities.

Pay

Pay rate: $16.50/hour ( Weekly Pay on Friday )

Night Shift

Night Shift: Sunday - Wednesday; 6:00 PM - 5:00 AM ( 4-10-hour shifts a week )

Responsibilities

• Ability to supervisor a diverse team to ensure standards on-site are constantly met.
• Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum (9-12 lbs.), sweeping, mopping and scrubbing.
• Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors, etc.
• Dust/wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds, etc.
• Clean/disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors, etc.
• Restock supplies/refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, etc.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners to fit.
• Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals available.
• Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Operates specialized equipment as needed.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Abide by and enforce Sizemore's and client's policies and procedures as needed.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.
