Job summary

The Facilities Group National is hiring a shift supervisor for our Brookshire, TX location. You will lead janitorial staff, ensure the day’s scope is completed, and uphold safety and quality standards.

You’ll collaborate with management to meet deadlines and customer expectations, and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workplace. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in janitorial work and leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• At least 1 year of lead or supervisor experience (preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the U.S. – We Use E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift by assisting the manager to ensure the day’s scope of work is completed.
• Ensure assigned janitorial duties are completed.
• Apply work standards for janitorial staff in line with company practices.
• Monitor, measure, and report performance during the shift.
• Communicate daily assignments from the manager to staff.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper upkeep.
• Uphold health and safety rules during the shift.
• Support training for current and future shift needs.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for a clean and safe workplace.
• Respond to customer complaints to achieve satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
