Job summary

The Facilities Group National is seeking an energetic janitor to keep client facilities clean in Brookshire, TX. This full-time role requires basic cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning products.

You will be responsible for maintaining clean buildings, following safety guidelines, and supporting a team of cleaning professionals. Ideal candidates will be able to manage time well, work independently or with others, and handle routine cleaning tasks across a variety of environments.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in facilities.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the building and keeping it in good condition.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Remove debris and snow from sidewalks.
• Ensure doors are locked after hours.
• Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notify supervisors of major repairs.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
• Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
