Job summary

Summit Building Services in Northeast Ohio is seeking a janitorial project technician for full-time, 2nd or 3rd shift with weekend work. The role starts at 19.00 USD per hour and includes mileage and travel time reimbursement. Candidates must have reliable transportation, and be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities include supporting special projects, floor care, window and carpet cleaning, and facility sanitation across multiple sites in the region.

Responsibilities

• Assists District Manager in Special Projects (Fogging Disinfection Service; Window Cleaning; Carpet Cleaning; Stripping & Waxing; Construction Cleanups)
• Cleans floors and windows (dust/damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting) and restrooms (restocking, cleaning, sanitizing)
• Empties trash and replaces liners
• Assists General Manager in covering call-offs
• Assists Office Manager with laundry
• Performs additional duties as needed

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an opening for a janitorial project technician. You'd be working 30-40 hours per week varying schedule in the evening weekends required. The pay starts at $19.00 an hour, plus mileage and travel time reimbursement.

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to a pass drug test and background check.

Job Duties Include

• Assists District Manger in Special Projects
  • Fogging Disinfection Service
  • Window Cleaning
  • Carpet Cleaning
  • Stripping & Waxing
  • Construction Cleanups
• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings throughout Northeast Ohio
  • Cleans floors: including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
  • Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
  • Empties trash, and replaces liners.
• Assists General Manager in covering call offs.
• Assists Office Manager with laundry.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
