Job summary

Summit Building Services in Northeast Ohio is seeking a janitorial project technician to join our team. You will work 30-40 hours per week, primarily in the evenings, with weekends required, and start at $19.00 per hour plus mileage and travel time reimbursement.

Reliable transportation and the ability to pass a drug test and background check are essential. Responsibilities include window and carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing, construction cleanups, and completing job specifications for

• Willing to travel within Northeast Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assist District Manager on special projects.
• Window cleaning.
• Carpet cleaning.
• Stripping & Waxing floors.
• Construction cleanups.
• Prepare building-specific job specs for assigned locations in Northeast Ohio.
• Clean floors (dust/damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming) and restrooms (restocking, sanitizing).
• Assist General Manager in covering call-offs and support Office Manager with laundry.

Job Skills / Requirements

We currently have an opening for a janitorial project technician. You'd be working 30-40 hours per week varying schedule in the evening weekends required. The pay starts at $19.00 an hour, plus mileage and travel time reimbursement.

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and be able to a pass drug test and background check.

Job Duties Include:

• Assists District Manger in Special Projects
• Window Cleaning
• Carpet Cleaning
• Stripping & Waxing
• Construction Cleanups
• Complete job specifications for assigned buildings throughout Northeast Ohio
• Cleans floors: including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
• Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
• Empties trash, and replaces liners.
• Assists General Manager in covering call offs.
• Assists Office Manager with laundry.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
