Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Porter to join our Janitorial Services Team in Michigan. The role involves high-volume cleaning in fast-paced environments, daily customer interaction, and maintaining strong customer relations while completing assigned janitorial duties.

The position is an hourly, non-exempt role with shifts including Thursday 12-8pm, Friday 12-8pm, and Saturday 6am-12noon.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to lift and move up to 49 pounds and stand/walk 10–12 hours.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals (English; Spanish where required).
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services in high-traffic sites.
• Interact with customers to prioritize daily work requests.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and fulfill janitorial duties.
• Lead when needed and provide practical solutions to issues.
