Gesher Human Services is hiring a Supervisory Janitor in Warren, MI. You will lead daily janitorial operations, supervise staff, and ensure quality standards for multiple sites, primarily during evenings. You will coordinate supplies, maintain records, and interact with participants and staff.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience with custodial procedures, inventory control, and using janitorial chemicals. Valid Michigan driver’s license is required.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Experience with custodial procedures, inventory and quality control is required.
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Experience supervising multiple custodial crews is preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with participants, staff and public.
• Ability to prepare required reports.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise janitorial staff daily and report issues to site manager.
• Manage day-to-day operations and schedule tasks for staff.
• Track time and attendance for designated staff.
• Develop and maintain quality control programs with documentation.
• Ensure staff documentation is completed timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with customers and assess areas for improvement.
• Order and maintain supplies and equipment; monitor agency property use.
• Assist with bids for new contracts and provide coverage as needed.
