Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Operations Manager to oversee operations at one of our client sites. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, capable of working independently, and a team player. This role offers an opportunity to advance your career within a fast-growing company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage daily activities at assigned sites, ensuring thorough cleaning of all areas.
2. Plan, organize, and direct team members to maximize customer satisfaction.
3. Coordinate and perform special projects for the building.
4. Collaborate with the home office to improve operations and employee experience.
5. Supervise janitorial staff daily.
6. Report weekly to the Director.
7. Maintain and order supplies and inventory.
8. Handle payroll processing.
9. Train and schedule new staff.
10. Manage performance and discipline, coordinating with HR as needed.
11. Uphold standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.
12. Conduct inspections and report to clients.
13. Communicate regularly with clients via phone and email.
14. Coordinate new startups, including recruiting and training.
15. Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
16. Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.

Minimum Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial janitorial services.
• Flooring experience preferred.
• Experience managing a team of 15+ employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Strong multitasking, customer service, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and sell additional services.
• Effective communication with all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to travel.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk extensively.
