Job description

General Cleaning Manager -- Sioux Falls, SD

Purpose: Promote business growth and customer satisfaction by excelling in the supervision of high quality and timely cleaning projects. Responsible for project execution, coordination, and communication with cleaning technicians assigned to jobs

Essential Functions:

● Conduct onsite reviews of potential projects with customers to develop a scope of work and estimate

● Use industry software to manage projects including all documentation (PSA and Xactimate)

● Determine and prepare materials, equipment, and resources per job

● Schedule and re-schedule work with cleaning technicians and customers

● Successfully manage project budgets

● Respond promptly and accurately to questions from cleaning technicians as their point of contact

● Conduct onsite inspections of projects to verify status of assigned work

● Provide feedback on inspections directly to those completing the work at the time of the observation

● Daily review of all ongoing projects and report on progress with Department Manager

● Coordinate with Department Manager regularly scheduled contact with customers to communicate progress and confirm satisfaction

● Respond promptly and with empathy as the point of contact for customers

● Complete cleaning task as part of the team as needed

● Follow and enforce all safety standards

● Be available to be On Call for emergency situations

● Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy of work

● Coordinate several projects simultaneously

● Respond effectively to sudden changes. Apply flexibility and the ability to adjust quickly.

● Cross-train as requested to develop and broaden skill set

● Apply personal ethics, honesty, initiative, flexibility, and responsibility in carrying out the functions of this position

● Actively follow and support the Mission of Intek, its policies and procedures

● Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education:

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in cleaning or restoration field -- required

● Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record -- required

● Ability to pass a background check -- required

● Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or project management experience -- preferred

● Bachelor’s Degree in General Management or Project Management -- preferred

Physical Demands

● Ability to work a varied shift

● Ability to occasionally bend, climb or balance, kneel, stoop, walk, or push and pull objects

● Ability to lift up to 25lbs, and occasionally 100lbs, to perform job functions

● Ability to work in a variety of environments, conditions, and temperatures including both in the office and in the field
