Compass Group USA’s ESFM division seeks a shift supervisor to direct associates during a specific shift and ensure completion of job expectations while upholding policy and procedure.

You will train staff, develop schedules, evaluate performance, and prepare reports for management to support quality, safety and productivity goals. Mentoring may include guiding staff toward advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in directing and training associates during a shift.
• Ability to create and manage work schedules and staffing levels.
• Experience evaluating worker performance and mentoring for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety standards are met.

Job Summary

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
